The Flag Hoisting Ceremony on the occasion of 66th Republic Day of India will be held  at 10 AM on Monday, 26th January, 2015 at  the Consulate General of India, 365 Bloor Street East, Suite 700, Toronto, ON, M4W 3L4 (Near Bloor and Sherbourne intersection, the nearest Subway Station is Sherbourne). 

2.        All Indians, Person of Indian origin and friends of India are cordially invited to attend the ceremony. 

3.       The programme will include flag hoisting, singing of National Anthem and reading of Hon’ble President’s message by the Consul General followed by serving of refreshment.

The Government of India  has merged the PIO card with OCI card scheme with effect from 9th January 2015.  It is  informed that henceforth there shall be only OCI card scheme in existence. (Please click HERE for details)

The Consulate does not accept any applications directly, except for Emergency Visa, Emergency Passport (Tatkaal), and Attestations. These services are available at the Consulate from Monday to Friday:
Submission: 9:00 am to 12:00 (Noon) Collection: Morning/Evening (as informed at the time of submission)

Applications relating to Passport, Visa, Surrender Certificate, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) card, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Certificate of Birth, Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and consular services are handled by an outsourcing agency - BLS International Services Canada Inc. Online Indian visa application forms are available at India's Home Ministry's website at: http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/.
