India Trade Promotion Organisation is organizing the 25th edition of “AAHAR” (International food fair) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from March 10 to 14, 2010.

The Exhibition will be divided into two independent shows 'FOOD INDIA' covering foods and the processed foods sector and HOSPITALITY INDIA representing Hotel and restaurant, bakery and confectionery equipment and supplies. AAHAR has been recognized as one of the leading events of its kind in Asia. “AAHAR 2009” had 450 exhibitors showcasing their products and 28 overseas participants include Bangladesh, Canada, Chile, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey and USA.

Products being displayed include all kinds of foods and processed foods including alcoholic beverages, machinery related to food processing and packaging of food products, milling machinery, poultry, farm equipment and supplies, air-conditioning, refrigeration and cold storage systems, Air and water-pollution control equipment and accessories, hotel and kitchen equipment and tableware,
Health and fitness equipment and consultancy services.

The special highlights of this fair are a Culinary Show co-coordinated by the Indian Culinary Forum showing live demonstration and cooking and tasting of various kinds of food items and Seminars and Conferences by Co-Associates in coordination with Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.
