Tracing the Roots

Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) who intend to “trace their roots” in India may avail the services under a scheme launched by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs in 2008 called, “Tracing the Roots”. Application Form for this purpose can be downloaded here.

The filled up prescribed application form may be deposited with the Consulate General of India, Toronto along with a fee of Rs.30,000 ( Rupees Thirty Thousand only) in equivalent US $, Euro or any other foreign currency acceptable to the Indian Mission/Post.
